Packaged Day Turns
This is a day turn story I did about the Midwest's own "Music Bingo Guy," who saw so much success with his unique business, he had to expand, hire dozens of employees, and change the name to "The Music Bingo People."
In this story, I worked with a local hospital to showcase a procedure that can reduce essential tremor, and has an immediate effect. I follow along with Charles Punter as he sees his hand stop shaking and his life change in just a matter of hours.
After a local Jewish temple was spray painted with anti-Semitic messages, people of all faiths came out to support congregation members and prove that Lincoln is a safe, inclusive community that does not tolerate hate.
Breaking News Coverage
A tornado tore through parts of Lincoln, doing significant damage to buildings like this Harley-Davidson store. I was on scene for several hours, dealing with hail and lightning, talking to the store's owners as they cleaned up. For many, this storm was unexpected.
Anchoring
In addition to being a multimedia journalist, I also weekend anchor. I produce all weekend shows by myself, and am completely comfortable using Avid and iNews to put together an engaging and informative newscast.
